The Bars They Call Reality.

(Yesterday, I chose to lose myself in idle fantasy.)

“The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake, when you don't know the difference between reality and fantasy, when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality, and it really happened.”

- Author Unknown

Engaging in fantasy is choosing to dream while we are still awake so the moment of magic stays with us in the mundane world of waking.

“'What do you fear my lady?'
'A cage. To stay behind bars until use and old age accept them and all chance of valor has gone beyond beyond recall or desire.'”

- J.R.R. Tolkien

They who would not dream choose to stay behind bars and call them reality.
